The FRINGE Poncho combines classic knitting techniques with a contemporary finish. It’s the perfect piece to layer over a jacket, blazer, trench coat or winter coat.

Knitted from the top down in the round, it features a central lace panel flanked by two cables, adding texture and character to the design.

The alpaca and merino blend creates a garment that is both warm and lightweight, while the mohair and silk fringe adds an extra touch of elegance that I absolutely love!

Needles

3.5mm / 4mm circular needles with 40 and 80 cm cables

Gauge

21 sts x 26 rows = 10×10 cm blocked, in stockinette stitch worked in the round.

23 sts x 12 rows= 10 cm x 5cm chart gauge, blocked and worked in the round.

The FRINGE PONCHO in the sample is knitted in size 1 using yarn option 1 (2 strands of alpaca and merino held together). If you choose option 2, work the PONCHO with a single strand.
