Puntilla mittens – English pattern

The mittens are worked from the cuff up with circular needles, leaving the thumb stitches on hold to be knitted after the mitten is finished.
They start with lace, followed by a very simple 2 color pattern where a mohair yarn is held together with the main color in several rounds, giving a very subtle touch of light and color. The hand is knitted in stockinette stitch all the way to the fingertips.
